Dr. Braun is Professor of the Postgraduate School of Internal Medicine at the University of Chieti - Pescara.

He specialized in Cardiology, Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine.

1989-1995 he was working in the largest Internal and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit of Germany. (Klinikum Krefeld-University of Düsseldorf /Germany directed by Prof. Grosser)

1990 he began service as an emergency doctor in helicopter air rescue.

1994 he became a supervising Doctor for emergency services in Germany.

1997-2002 he was Consulent of Internal Medicin/Cardiology in UKH Trauma Center of Salzburg/A

1990 – 2008 he completed more than 2000 missions as emergency doctor.

2007 he became Chief of the Emergency Unit in the CRC at the CeSI Institute in the University of Chieti – Pescara
